Driving In over the Sentosa Gateway to Cape Royale

Sentosa is an island, and Cape Royale sits at its far eastern end, so every journey starts with the question of how to cross the water. This guide sets out the road route, the rail links on either side of it and the ways of moving around the island from Cape Royale.

The Road Route from Cape Royale

The Sentosa Gateway is the road bridge between the island and HarbourFront. From Cove Way, Google Maps routes cars along Allanbrooke Road to the Gateway and across it, about 4.8 kilometres and about 12 minutes to HarbourFront MRT station. Raffles Place is about 8.5 to 9.3 kilometres away by road, depending on whether the route runs by Keppel Road or along the Gateway, and Ho Bee Land’s project page puts Orchard Road and the Central Business District about ten minutes away by car.

On the island itself, the developer’s brochure gives Sentosa Golf Club as a six-minute drive and Tanjong Beach as a seven-minute drive from the development.

The Resident Buggy at Cape Royale

Within Sentosa Cove the developer’s brochure describes a resident-exclusive buggy service that takes residents of Cape Royale to ONE°15 Marina and Quayside Isle in minutes, and gives a seven-minute walk to the marina and a thirteen-minute walk to Quayside Isle. For groceries, the brochure points to Sentosa Arrival Plaza, about ten minutes on foot.

Planning the Daily Routine from Cape Royale

For most households at Cape Royale the car does the long journeys and the buggy or a walk does the short ones. The location page lists every distance, and the Sales Concierge can go through parking and access at a viewing appointment.
